Yellow Trash Bags are sold at the Finance Counter at City Hall. Cost is $40.50 for a roll of 10.

CITY-WIDE TRASH & RECYCLE PROGRAM
The City of Willoughby Hills has a City-Wide Rubbish and Recycling Program.
Republic Services, Inc. is the exclusive service provider for all residences in the city.
The program includes the following options for the contract period effective 4/1/2015 thru 3/31/2020,
with the option to renew 4/1/2020 thru 3/31/2025:
1) Weekly unlimited rubbish and household trash pickup with one 96 gallon cart
2) Bi-weekly recycled material pickup with one 64 gallon container - Click Here for Schedule
3) Weekly "heavy trash" pickup is included with options 1 or 2 (above)
a) items should not exceed 50# weight limit,
b) freon and doors must be removed from refrigerators/appliances and properly tagged,
c) carpet must be rolled and tied into lengths not to exceed 4',
d) Furniture - upholstered furniture, mattresses and box springs must
be bagged or wrapped in plastic to prevent bed bug transmission,
e) wood products must be bundled and tied in lengths not to exceed 4'.
PLEASE CALL TO SCHEDULE THE PICK UP FOR THE HEAVY ITEM(S).
4) A special rate for senior citizens for the above services
5) Optional bag service with free bi-weekly pickup of recycled materials ($40.50 for 10 bags)
(cost for Large Item Pick Up is $12 per item)
6) "Opt Out" provision for those who have a legal means to dispose of their trash
elsewhere (i.e. place of business, two residences, etc.)

* Seniors must be 60 years of age and must submit a copy of their Ohio Golden
Buckeye Card directly to Republic Services.

By contract, Republic Services will guarantee the rates for a five-year term with the option to renew
for five more years, with the only chance of an increase being a governmentally imposed regulation,
increased tax, fee, surcharge or assessment.
