Block Parties

The City of Willoughby Hills encourages Block Parties in the community in order for neighbors to get to know each other and enjoy living in the City.

     The City is committed to assist residents who plan a Block Party in their neighborhood by: 
Providing barriers to block off the street during the event, arranging for a representative from the City’s Police, Fire, or Service Department to make an appearance at the event (often times with a treat bag for the kids), arranging for the Mayor or Council member to visit in order to allow the guests to become familiar with their representatives, providing information for your menu planning with contacts from Willoughby Hills businesses, and finally to provide an alternate location at one of the City’s Campbell Park pavilions if your street would prohibit or make such a gathering difficult.
